Wilkins Harley-Davidson acquires Green Mountain Harley-Davidson

BARRE — Wilkins Harley-Davidson has purchased the assets of Green Mountain Harley-Davidson in Essex Junction, expanding its operation into Chittenden County and beyond.
The owners Barbara Wilkins, Ann Lyon, and John Lyon represent three generations of family operated business.

Started in Barre in 1947, the dealership has grown several times over the years but this is a major step for the family.

“We are proud of what we have accomplished over the 72 years but if are to continue growing, a giant step like this is needed,“ said John Lyon, Co-Owner and General Manager of Wilkins Harley-Davidson.
