Woman seriously injured during crash in Moretown

MORETOWN — A 21-year-old Montpelier woman was involved in a single-vehicle crash with serious injuries in Moretown on Saturday.

The crash took place on Moretown Mountain Road at around 8:23 p.m.

Police say they located the vehicle on the driver’s side off the northern shoulder of the road when they arrived.

The driver was identified as Taylor Boardman.

Police say Boardman was pinned under the vehicle and once freed by medical staff she was transported to the hospital for further evaluation and treatment.

The road remained closed during the investigation.

Police are still investigating this crash.
